I just wanted to add a few pictures of the Auto Club 400 in Fontana, CA.

Vonnie snagged one of the crew members at Jamie McMurray's trailer in the garage area...nice shirt!

Last Friday we flew out to Ontario, CA with the Lash's and stayed the weekend...for the NASCAR races. So, I'll throw out a few pictures and I'm sure everyone knows that Kyle Busch won the Sprint cup race (not Jeff Gordon :( )

The weather was around 70 degrees and fairly cool. Great for racing! I'll post more pics soon.

Carol and I went to the Portland Rod & Custom show with the Lash's yesterday and I wanted to post a few Cars and Trucks...especially for Dad and Mom! So, here we go.

This week started kinda rainy and dreary, so when the weather broke and our temps got up to 60 degrees we took advantage of it. Wednesday evening (after work) we called Jim & Vonnie Lash and asked if they wanted to go to the beach for dinner :). We piled into the van, threw the dog in the back, and drove to Canon Beach. We walked along the beach and had dinner at Mo's.

 

 

Great company, really nice night, super food...what else could you ask for on a work night ?!

I'm late in updating the blog....sorry. Weekends have been a blur. But, this weekend started early because I had Friday off. And Carol was off at 1:00pm. I gassed up the van, filled the cooler, and we went to Lincoln City. Dinner at McMinnamin's was great. It was 61 degrees and a light wind. After checking in at Pelican Shores, we went for a walk on the beach. Here's what it looked like:

We keep beach chairs in the van. So, we set them up on the beach and watched the sunset. At 9:00pm we drove to the other end of town and saw the movie "Non-Stop". When we got up this morning, it was raining (again). Super weekend ahead...NASCAR Nationwide race today and Sprint Cup tomorrow - both at Los Vegas. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
