Can you tell that Carol and I went to the Portland Auto Show last Friday evening?! Two floors of cars...mostly new, but a few custom jobs. They had a section of Green - Gas Savers - Electric cars too. And...Motorcycles :) I got to see the new Honda Gold Wing, just beautiful!!! I NEED ONE :)

Then, on Saturday afternoon we drove up to Seattle, WA  with our friends Jim & Vonnie Lash to see Kenny G at Jazz Alley. Great concert and good food. He and his band have been together for over 25 years. If you get a chance, go see him. Will write more soon...the weekend is coming :)

Okay, Kelly...I've got the glass in and the seats and floorboard in. Then a quick chassis fit!!! Oh Yeah!! That's a keeper. Still working on the engine - opened a bad bottle of blue paint. Have a good week and drive carefully to Colorado Springs...Go Mikayla!!!

Kelly, Etienne, and the girls sent me this 1966 Mustang model for my birthday. So, I thought I'd share the progress - it's slow, but worth every second :) So far, it's been Gloss Red and Flat Black. Yesterday, I put the shifter in and the dashboard painted. More pics soon!

Carol and I spent Sunday and Monday at the Inn at Spanish Head. I'm amazed at the debris that's washed up on the beach from Japan's tsunami (last year). Beach clean up in March (I think) ought to be quite a feat. Compare the size of the logs to the people on the beach!

This was our view from our room - love those sunsets!!! I listened to the ocean all night.

The next morning, I took this shot - but, I had to put my coffee down to get it :)  When we left Aloha, the temperature was 27 degrees. When we arrived at Lincoln City it was 54 degrees and windy. 

Our next outing is Saturday, 26 Jan, we're going with the Lash's to Jazz Alley in Seattle to see... Kenny G. and enjoy a little dinner. I hope everyone is doing well, we'll write more soon.
